MainAustralian Coin ReviewEditor - John DeanThe Hawthorn Press 15 Guildford Lane Melbourne Vic Australia Many interesting articles on coins, banknotes and the history around them. Also especially enjoyable to read prevailing attitudes to certain coins and issues and comparing them to today. Available from newsagents, coin dealers and ebay and 2nd hand bookshops. This is the first Australian coin collectors magazine, beginning in 1964 it still exists today under the Coin and Banknote magazine banner. I've been told that the roots are in the South Australian Numismatic Journal, which was/is quite eagerly read by most. Hopefully will use this page to build a review of each issue, it will probably turn into yet another never ending project.. Do not have the complete series yet but hoping in time to get there, approx 85-90% complete. For now, (April 2007), will forgo pictures of each issue and try to get the contents list done, this may help speed things along a little. Editor and publisher information to be updated soontm |
